Sitten takaisin junalla Taipeista Tayouaniin. Se oli harvoja kulussa olevia junia taifuunin vuoksi. Otin junan ikkunasta kuvan vuorille päin.
Then back from Taipei to Tayouan. It was one of trains still operating in the taifuun wheather. I took the picture through train window toward the mountains.

Kolusin sateessa jopa lähistön kujat, kun en päässyt kasvitieteelliselle. Tässä roskien seassa kasvava Catalpa. I probed in the rain even the nearby alleys as I could not get into the botanical. Here is a Catalpa growing among trash.

Juna oli lähes tyhjä. Ihmiset ilmeisesti noudattivat taifuuni-varoituksia ja monet tapahtumat oli peruutettu? The train was almost empty. Apparently people obeyed typhoon warnings and many gatherings had been cancelled?

Tein vielä iltapäivällä pienen kävelyretken Tayouanissa. Puistossa oli pieni temppeli. I still had a short walk in Tayouan in the afternoon. There was a small temple in the park.

Taifuuni oli selvästi vähentänyt iltapäivän ruuhkaa. The typhoon had clearly slowed down the afternoon traffic.
