x fraseri (canadense x molle ssp. japonicum) is a hardy azalea in Finland.
The forest garden is in valley surrounded by rocks.

Wooden causeways guide the walking in the garden.  This helps in protecting the natural ground covering plants.

R. vaseyi blooms mid June. Vaccinium myrtillus and Trientalis europaea are original ground cover plants.

R. vaseyi on 12th of June. Most of the flower buds are still ahead for opening.
