R. calostrotum ssp. keleticum on matalakasvuinen Saluenensia-alasektion lepidootti. Se hyötyy lumisuojasta selvityäkseen talvesta.
R. calostrotum ssp. keleticum is a low growing lepidote from subsection Saluenensia. It benefits from snow cover in Finland to survive.
'Matterhorn' alppiruusun samassa kukinnossa voi olla kahdenvärisiä täpliä. There can be two different colored blotches in the same truss of 'Matterhorn'.

'Calsap' on eräs suosikeistani. Se kukkii luotettavasti joka vuosi. 'Calsap' is one of my favorites. It blooms faithfully every year.

'Calsap' on Michenerin risteytys 'Catalgla' x 'Sappho'. 'Calsap' is cross 'Catalgla' x 'Sappho' by Michener.

'Calsap' alppiruusun vaaleissa kukissa on tumma täplä. The flowers of 'Calsap' with dark blotch are very striking.

Etualalla on Hachmannin risteytys 'Junifee' ['Hachmann's Charmant' x 'Anilin']. In front is Hachmann's cross 'Junifee' ['Hachmann's Charmant' x 'Anilin'].

'Junifee' alppiruusun kaunis kukinto. 'Junifee' has pretty nice flowers.

'Marcel Menard' alppiruusu näytti talven jälkeen kuolleelta, mutta piristyi kesäkuussa kauniiseen kukintaan. 'Marcel Menard' looked dead in May but it recovered well in June into a nice flowering.

'Marcel Menard' rhodon kukat ovat tummanvioletit kellertävänvihreällä leoparditäplällä. The flowers of 'Marcel Menard' are dark violet with a yellow greenish blotch.
