'Cecile' on vanha Lionel de Rothschildin Exbury atsalea. Pakkaskestävyys -26°C (ARS).
'Cecile' is an old Exbury azalea by Lionel de Rothschild. Cold hardiness -15°F (ARS).
Viikkoa myöhemmin 'Royal Command' atsalean kukkanuput ovat muuttuneet oranssisiksi ja lehdet ovat saaneet vihreyttä. A week later the flower buds of 'Royal Command' have turned orange and the leaves have got green color.

'Royal Command' atsalean kukat ovat punertavan oranssiset. The flowers of 'Royal Command' are reddish orange.

'Cecile' ja 'Apple Blossom' atsaleat olen istuttanut suuren katajan viereen. I have planted azaleas 'Cecile' and 'Apple Blossom' beside a large Juniperus communis.

'Apple Blossom' on Mollis atsalea, jonka perimää ei tarkemmin tunneta (K. Wezelenburg & Son, 1958). 'Apple Blossom' is a Mollis azalea, parentage is unknown (K. Wezelenburg & Son, 1958).

'Juniduft' on myöhään kesäkuun loppupuolella kukkiva, tuoksuva Hachmannin atsalealajike [viscosum x 'Orange Hit']. 'Juniduft is Hachmann's azalea hybrid [viscosum x 'Orange Hit']. It flowers in late June and has good fragrance.

'Feuerwerk' on kauniin oranssinpunainen Hachmannin atsalealajike. Risteytys on ['Cecile' x 'Fireball']. 'Feuerwerk' is a beautiful orange red azalea hybrid by Hachmann. The cross is ['Cecile' x 'Fireball'].

'Feuerwerk' atsalean pakkaskestävyys on ainakin -24°C. Cold hardiness of azalea 'Feuerwerk' is at least down to -10°F.

Japaninalppiruusu, R. brachycarpum kukkii kesäkuun loppupuolella. Se on vähän arempi kuin R. brachycarpum ssp. tigerstedtii. R. brachycarpum flowers end of June in my garden. It is less hardy than R. brachycarpum ssp. tigerstedtii.
